Secure Thin Data Storage Medium using Scattering and Absorption
We have been developing an optical data storage medium using scattering and absorption. The proposed medium can be thin by increasing the scattering coefficient. These media can be used as secure data storage medium as a physical way as well as a software way.The information is coded by absorption distribution. This absorption distribution can be hided by scattering property. We have been developing fabrication methods of the optical data storage medium and the numerical reconstruction method from the scattered light distribution.
